The end of an era

To continue the tradition of bad and depressing news, this week we found out that Marco Aro has decided to leave The Haunted.
I can’t begin to tell you how sorry I am to see Marco go, he’s not only an exceptional vocalist but a really nice human being. I thank him for his generosity, for all the times that he made time for my interviews (always with a smile), for being outspoken, for making me laugh until I cried….the list is endless.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing him live with the band several times and enjoyed each one to the max and who can forget that amazing session that The Haunted recorded for TotalRock in front of 3 people? Me being one of them! I feel blessed

In these recent times of changes, of goodbyes, of so many memories invading my mind and my heart, I feel this is truly the end of an era and I can imagine how the rest of the guys in the band must feel, my love goes to them too, I know they’ll continue to kick ass!

To Marco: my deepest respect and all the happiness in the world. You rock!

The Priest on the show

On Friday September the 5th Malcolm Dome will be at the front of Sex to 9 and his special guests will be Glenn Tipton and Rob Halford of Judas Priest.
Don’t miss this very special show, three giants of metal together in a studio! What more could you ask for?

Thank you all!

Well here I am, a bit older, probably not wiser
Thank you all for your lovely messages, cards and emails wishing me a happy birthday, you rock as usual!

Alive if not kicking

To all those of you that are worried something has happened to me, rest assured that I have not had an accident and I’m not seriously ill. I’m really sorry I have missed the show for four weeks now and that it was a cause of concern for you.

I’m really grateful for all your emails and I hope I can return very soon.

Keep the Sex to 9 colony alive!

Extol on the show

On Friday June the 6th I will be airing my interview with Norway’s metallers Extol and playing songs from Undeceived and their new album Sinergy.

On to the 5th year!

The birthday show is over now and what a show I had! It went so fast that before I knew it was over.

Thank you boyz and girlz for making it a truly memorable show. Record of emails so far and well, just hectic but wonderful. Three hours are definitely not long enough for so much good music!

Congrats to all the winners of the competition, especially Ellis who was the winner of the Dr. Blast prize….lucky thing! I will need some time to arrange for your goodies to reach you all so be patient, you’ll get them

My thanks to all the bands, labels, the website’s host company Primerelay (you guys are simply the best), the TotalRock family, the listeners and of course the one and only Yoda (life without you would be half life), all of you make the show what it is.

And now we carry on to the fifth year on air and the Sex to 9 colony keeps growing.
